Elon Musk on Thursday said he's found a new CEO to take over Twitter, months after he first promised to step back from the role.

Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks! My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops.

As Elon doesn’t give the name of the new CEO and only mentioned new CEO is female, netizens begin to imagine and pick Twitter’s CEO in their views.

Elon Musk is in talks to hire Linda Yaccarino, NBCUniversal’s head of advertising, as Twitter’s new chief executive, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The price of dogecoin, which is typically volatile, was up more than 20% over the past 24 hours, to about 9 cents. It was trading just under 8 cents Monday morning.

Thanks @Tiger_comments Elon Musk needs ex-chief of NBCU ad Linda Yaccarino to be CEO of Twitter, focusing on the “business operations” while he “focus on design snd technology”. Looks like he has admit defeat that he cannot run Twitter and is now asking Linda to do damage control and bring in advertising money. Wonder how much profit sharing he promised her. Elona is very new to me. She looks so fresh. Is she a secret child of Elon Musk? Shiba Inu is too much hair here. Cathie Wood would shut down Twitter and make Elon Musk focus on Tesla! @Mrzorro I thought Shba Inu can be a goid CEO if given a clean shave. But now i prefer your EE. 2. Linda! She has a wealth of experience and she is well trusted by Elon which might prevent him from interring too excessively with the business. Twitter needs an overhaul and she is well poised to handle it now.

Linda Yaccarino will be the most qualified among the potential candidates with her wealth of experience and track record in reaching out to the general public and mass audience. Hopefully, this will help Elon Musk return his attention to Tesla, which is in need of his undivided leadership to steer it through the challenging macro headwinds and rising competition!
