I’ve been taking autonomous robotaxi in China since last year. It is still in trial stage, so the coverage area is limited. The ride was smooth, I felt safe, the screen shows what the car ‘sees’, and it was easy to book and pay for the ride. I see the looming end for taxi drivers.

TSLA's Robotaxi Era Begins: Will This Disrupt Ride-Hailing Giants?

Robo-Chauffeurs and the Road Ahead: Would You Hail a Driverless Future?

Robotaxis are rolling out—quietly, politely, and without asking how your day’s been. But are they worth the ride and the wager? The idea of climbing into a driverless car used to sound like a punchline from a Jetsons rerun. Now it’s just another Saturday in Silicon Valley. And this Saturday, it’s Austin’s turn. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ plans to launch its pilot Full Self-Driving (FSD) robotaxi programme there on 22 June. Would I try one? Honestly, I already trust my washing machine more than half the Uber drivers I’ve met. So yes, I’d give it a spin—especially if it doesn’t ask if I’m heading to a party. Your next ride has no driver—and no questions, either But here’s the real ride: robotaxis are no longer some distant moonshot. They're here, they’re

Israel’s strike on key Iranian facilities could lead to further increases in oil prices, fueling inflation expectations and exerting pressure on U.S. equities—particularly those in energy-sensitive sectors. While the upward trend in oil prices slightly eased this week, geopolitical uncertainty remains a key market risk for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, despite solid economic data, the Fed unsurprisingly refrained from cutting interest rates and reiterated concerns over tariffs and their potential inflationary effects. The Tesla Full Self-Driving (FSD) Model Y robotaxi trial in Austin is an intriguing development in the autonomous vehicle (AV) space. Whether someone would want to try a self-driving taxi depends on their openness to new technologies, trust in AV safety systems, and the convenience it offers. Here's a breakdown of your questions: --- 1. Would You Try a Self-Driving Taxi? Many people are curious about self-driving technology but hesitant to try it due to concerns about: Safety: Can Tesla's FSD system navigate real-world complexities reliably? Comfort: Will the ride be smooth, and will the technology instill confidence? Cost: How does it compare with existing ride-hailing options? For early adopters and technology enthusiasts, the opportunity to experience cutting-edge innovation could outwe
