Hello everyone！ Today i want to share some option strategies with you!Remember that "losing" trade on $MongoDB Inc.(MDB)$ where it tanked down to 230 post-earnings and we decided to take assignment of shares at 262.5 (actually 260 after you factor in the premium captured). Well, MDB hit 260 today and we could either sell our shares and exit out at breakeven or keep our shares and potentially exit out at profit if MDB continues to move up. Net of it all ... we can exit out of this trade in overall profit!What's the point here: Know what you are selling puts on and understand when earnings sell-offs are over-reactions to the earnings news/results/guidance. What started out nicely to the year went one gear better in the month of May when most people stay away due to the age old adage of "sell in May", but little did I think that it was delayed to a month later where the bloodshed took place, wiping most of my earnings gone for the year and still bleeding now as the main detractors $GameStop(GME)$ (100 shares from called put option) and $Canadian Solar(CSIQ)$ (multiple call options that I bought and multiple put options that I sold) contributed the bulk of the losses.
