    Interesting topic.

Working three days a week can be highly appealing to people who want a flexible schedule with long periods away from their workplace. What are the pros and cons?

Firstly, I think this will Improve your work-life balance.

Having frequent days off can provide you with time to relax and decompress from your workday. When you spend more than half the week away from your workplace, you can give yourself a mental break from thinking about work and use more time on your personal priorities. This can create a sense of balance that makes your career feel more manageable. Next, by working three days a week, you may have the opportunity to plan extended breaks from your workplace, which can make it easier to coordinate plans in your personal life without requesting time off from your job. Also, when you only work three days each week, you can significantly reduce your commute compared to a standard schedule of working five days per week. By only traveling to and from your workplace three times, you can reduce the overall time you spend traveling to work. This can give you more time to dedicate to your hobbies, family or relaxation. You may also save money by spending less on the costs of your commute.

However, everything has its good and bad sides. The disadvantages of working 3 days per week will be working three days a week may require you to adjust your daily routine. If you work full time, you may have long shifts that require you to wake up early in the morning and stay at work late at night. This can cause irregular mealtimes and disrupt any existing morning routines.

Next, a lower salary! Depending on your position, working three days per week can impact your total compensation. The number of hours you work on a three-day schedule can differ compared to a five-day workweek. How do you think?

3-5 Working week i think is actually optimistic. They are working on CBDCs to create a cashless society which will enable a universall living wage. This means no Union's or the need for union busters, this is the barest of what I'm getting to. School diplomas carry generational dept.People who have with honours find it hard to get work. Reason is only Secret Society Colleges get the opportunity because it's not what you know it's who you know. Think the same money that stated huge Conglomerates  is the same $ now. New money gets incorporated  into the old or hell to pay.
IT. & Engineering are 2 fields that a layman has a big chance of being needed though with many Countries making drugs legal & Theft of $1000 or less decrimilised, High interest rates etc... is taking out the middle class, Ma & PA Shops  so only few banks will stand.
Sad to say Conglomerates will rule the world & we will have to pay a monthly subscription will keep you warm, mobile Fed & in contact with Family etc...

good and bad, has its advantages and disadvantages.  bad as in would think that - market will be more volatile as shorter trading days... may lead to people trading aggressively. good as in - people will have more time to strategize...

🌟🌟🌟A 3 day work week sounds like a brilliant idea but it depends on which industry it is meant for.  For hospitals where 24 hour care is required, a 3 day work week is not possible.

However if it is IT or programming, a 3 day work week is definitely possible.  After experiencing working from home, a 3 day work week could be a good transition for some.

With the advent of AI and Robotics, in the future many jobs may be replaced by automation.    Nonetheless humans are irreplaceable when it comes to jobs like Teachers, Doctors and Nurses.

AI can never replace the trust and rapport that teachers have with their students.  AI can never replace the human touch and comfort that doctors and nurses provide for their patients.

While a 3 day work week may sound like a great idea, the reality is that  it does not apply to all jobs.

  • $JPMorgan Chase(JPM)$ I'd be pissed off to be honest. I'm already unhappy with weekend trades not being possible. some people like myself do this as a side hustle.

it's very much depends on what kind of the job you are doing.
for production, even fully automated environment still need people to work on site all the time.
for office, let's meet the midterm target -- 4 days work per week first.

I am for a 3-day work week. Even if it means that I can only stock trade the same. Work wise, this enhances productivity, work-life balance, and talent retention. Trading wise, i get to control myself from overtrade, read more, learn more before executing. everyone will be less stressed out and overstretched.

Not all jobs can be automated. Many still require face to face interaction and contact. Companies would also restructure their work. I hope it would still be the full pay? [Sly]

    为期3天的工作,也是收到3天的工资吗💰?
    那就不要🙅‍♀️
    如果只工作3天,薪水还是跟工作5天一样🤔老板能同意吗?

90% of jobs will be automated by 2030. so I think if you're still working three days a week in 2030 you would be lucky to even be employed at all. if you're managing a team of robots and AI you probably don't even need 3 days a week.

3-day work and trading week - nice to have but would cause incinveniencea unless more efficient AI-programmed services are available. So no service disruption in the absense of workers

3 days work would be interesting. Whether human kind would prosper even more with more time on hand remains to be seen.
Human tends to take the easy way out, hopefully for better of our future kind.
As tools that meant to advance us even further (AI) would be wrongly manipulated when it falls to the wrong hand.
In any case, we should be optimistic and stay positive as most of us are creating a better future for our next generation.
Whether it's 3 days work or 5 days work, productivity remain the core outcome of any organisation.
And for any organisation, the key survival skillset of profitability remains the core and positive cash flow would be the heart of each organisation.

The idea of a 3-day work and trading week has been gaining traction in recent years, with a number of companies and organizations experimenting with it. There are several potential benefits to this approach, including increased employee productivity, improved work-life balance, and reduced environmental impact. However, there are also some challenges that would need to be addressed in order to make it a widespread reality.

It is difficult to say definitively when a 3-day work and trading week will become widespread. However, the trend towards more flexible work arrangements suggests that it is likely to become more common in the future. As technology advances and businesses become more efficient, it may become more feasible for companies to operate with a smaller workforce and fewer working hours. Additionally, as employees become more aware of the potential benefits of a 3-day work week, they may be more likely to demand it from their employers.

Machines can make all the food and the stuff, and people don't have work as much. I guess is even less than the 3.5 day or not working at all.

With shorter work week, it also justifies for lower salary. Maybe people will need to find part time work such as Grab driver or food delivery in future? 🤔
