Which Companies Are Essential to Your Daily Life?
In daily life, major tech giants are everywhere.
For example, I use $Apple(AAPL)$ products like iPhones, computers, and headphones, which are indispensable for my work. The same goes for $Microsoft(MSFT)$ system, as I rely on Word, Excel, Outlook, and other tools—essential for anyone working in an office.
$Alphabet(GOOG)$ is even more unavoidable; the moment you open a browser at work, you’re likely visiting Google. After work, buying books or shopping often involves $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ , though for Chinese users, Taobao of $Alibaba(BABA)$ is more commonly used.
For transportation, there’s $DiDi Global Inc.(DIDIY)$ in China and $Grab Holdings(GRAB)$ in Singapore, $Uber(UBER)$ and $Lyft, Inc.(LYFT)$ for other countries. For food delivery, we use $MEITUAN-W(03690)$ and Ele.me of Alibaba, while other countries might rely on Uber Eats. These big companies are deeply embedded in our lives.
If you could only choose 3 companies to sustain your basic life, which ones would you pick?
For me, it would be $Apple(AAPL)$ for work, $Alibaba(BABA)$ for shopping and dining, and $Alphabet(GOOG)$ for accessing entertainment and information online.

Additionally, Alibaba's ecosystem extends beyond just shopping. It offers services for cloud computing and even entertainment, all of which are integrated seamlessly into daily life. The convenience of having all these services under one platform is something I greatly appreciate, especially when I can access items at a much lower cost than local alternatives.
Given the sheer variety of products, low prices, and the convenience of using Taobao for shopping, Alibaba is my top choice for sustaining my daily needs.
