The key to Warren Buffett's success and the exponential growth in his portfolio is to invest in quality companies that have solid fundamentals, strong earnings power, a wide moat and great potential for continued growth. Then it is important to hold them for a long time and watch the magic of compounding happen.
A good example would be Apple which is his largest stock in the portfolio. The share price of Apple has grown exponentially since he owned it in 2016.
Warren Buffett has said that he regarded Apple as his third business not as a stock, calling it "probably the best business I know in the world." He also said that Apple's iPhone ecosystem is "sticky" which encourages customers to regularly update.
I am a fan of Warren Buffett and Apple and I believe that there is a perfect synergy between the 2. I want to buy a quality stock like Apple and own it forever!
