META: Could Muse Become More Than an AI Feature?

Meta has spent years turning attention into advertising revenue. Now it may be testing something different: Getting paid when AI actually completes the transaction. That’s what makes the Muse story interesting to me. Imagine asking an AI: “Find me the cheapest flight next weekend.” Instead of sending you ten links and leaving you to do the work, Muse could search, compare and eventually book it for you. If Meta takes a fee when that transaction happens, the business model starts looking very different. And the opportunity could extend well beyond travel. 🛒 Shopping ✈️ Travel 🍔 Food delivery 💳 Payments 🎟️ Tickets The interesting part for $META is that it already has something many AI competitors don’t have at the same scale: billions of people already using its apps. Alphabet feels it first to me. Expedia may actually benefit if Muse becomes another distribution channel bringing it bookings. Amazon has more protection because it owns the marketplace, checkout relationship and customer data, and it has already shown that it is willing to block Muse from shopping on its platform. Alphabet is more exposed at the starting point of the journey. If users increasingly tell Muse “find me a hotel and book it” or “find this product and buy it”, fewer commercial journeys may begin with a Google search, followed by sponsored links and comparison shopping. That does not mean Google's business is immediately threatened. Muse still needs partners, merchants and payment infrastructure to complete transactions. But the bigger question is whether the AI agent becomes th

Mark Zuckerberg's announcement at Meta Connect regarding their personal AI agent, Muse, marks a massive shift in how big tech plans to monetize AI. Instead of relying on traditional subscription fees or just standard advertising, Meta is implementing a transaction-fee model. They will take a small cut from merchants whenever Muse completes a purchase or booking on behalf of a user. JPMorgan recently raised META's price target to $920, seeing this as a viable avenue to diversify away from pure ad revenue. Long-term investors should watch how fast e-commerce platforms adopt or block Muse integrations. What Meta actually announced Meta Connect opened on Wednesday with $1,299 VR glasses, camera-free smart glasses, and the first real answer to the question everyone has been asking about Muse: how does it make money? $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$  I think it makes sense for integrators to rally first. Shopify can show a clearer near-term benefit from Muse through more transactions and Shop Pay usage, while Meta still has to prove how Muse itself will monetise its rapidly growing user base. The partner rallies are encouraging because they suggest Muse is developing into an ecosystem rather than just another AI app. The next step is showing that Meta can capture a meaningful share of the value created by that ecosystem.

One AI Agent Just Put CPUs Back in the Spotlight

AI may be moving from “answering questions” to actually doing work — and that could make CPUs important again. The latest AI trade is no longer just about GPUs. Meta’s new AI agent, Muse, has pushed investors to rethink what the next phase of AI infrastructure may actually require. Why?Because an AI agent does much more than generate an answer. It may need to:open a browser, search the web, fill out forms, call APIs,run tools, manage files, and keep working in the background for minutes or even hours. That changes the compute equation. For a chatbot, the workflow is relatively simple: Prompt → GPU inference → Response For an AI agent, it looks more like: Think → Browse → Execute → Check → Think Again → Continue GPUs still handle the heavy model inference. But many of the surrounding workloads —

US stocks surged today as a wave of positive news hit simultaneously

US stocks surged today as a wave of positive news hit simultaneously, causing several major risk concerns that had previously weighed on the market to subside: 1) Signs of de-escalation in the Middle East.        META +11.43% — Monday Wasn’t Just an AI Hype Spike META’s Monday move deserves a closer look. The stock closed at $741.25, up 11.43%, after opening around $680.30 and pushing all the way to $753.00 intraday. More importantly, volume exploded more than its recent average. The price pattern is what makes this interesting: META didn’t simply gap up and fade. It started near the lows, broke aggressively higher, reached $753, and still closed at $741.25 — only around 1.6% below the intraday high. That suggests substantial buying pressure remained into the close. And the catalyst is Muse. The AI assistant becoming the No.1 free app on the US App Store gives investors something they haven’t had before: a visible consumer-adoption signal for Meta’s AI strategy. Monday added approximately $19
