I opened $Dollar General(DG)$ ,DG: bought in DG stocks at $83 when the cash secured put expired in the money on 6th Sept. As it closes only marginally lower at $82.58, which is $0.42 lower, the total premium collected is more than enough to cover this paper loss on the stock therefore an overall profitable trade. DG had dropped >30% since its poorer than expected earnings and I think currently is oversold. We’ll see if there is short term rebound, but highly depending on the overall market sentiments.

I opened $Baidu(BIDU)$ ,BIDU: bought in Baidu shares at $85 as part of the cash secured put that expired in the money on 6th Sept. Currently BIDU trades at $81.01 so about $4 paper loss. Earnings in 22nd Aug cause a small sell off as the results were mixed. Fri also closed weak along with most counters for a wide range sell off. Will look to sell covered call in coming week to continue collect premium and wait for counter to recover.
