TOP🌟🌟🌟Many Thanks @Tiger_Contra for your wonderful article on my investing journey with Tiger. On looking back, I was surprised how far I have come in terms of knowledge and experience. I first started out with investing mainly in Singapore market and then branched out into the Hong Kong, US and the Australian markets for diversification. I must confess that I have made lots of mistakes along the way but I have learnt that it is important to select quality stocks and index ETFs as these have the best potential of outperforming the markets in the long term. The Singapore market has lots of value stocks and they are like sleeping beauties waiting to be woken up and outperform. Take for example the recent rally in $STI ETF(ES3.SI)$ which reached a 17 year high. This was due to the Big 3 Singapore banks $DBS Group Holdings(D05.SI)$ $ocbc bank(O39.SI)$ $UOB(U11.SI)$ reaching record highs and the SReits on the rise. The stage is now set with the cutting of interest rates by the Feds and I believe that the sun will now rise with our Singapore markets achieving new highs. Of course the markets never move in straight lines but with patience and time in the market, I know with deep conviction that it is important to stay invested and continue to hold my portfolio with a long term horizon. I opened $META 20241025 495.0 PUT$ ,META: collect 0.7% premium on cash secured put with strike at $495 which is about $20 higher than my last sold put expiring later this week on 27th Sept. META had run up a fair bit and yet it’s not really expensive among the Mag 7 in terms of valuation. Strike is set at around the 100 days MA and also below the key $55 support so hope that give some assurance. Contract expires in 31 days on 25th Oct.
