China Faces Credit Downgrade Risk as Central Bank Holds Junk Assets

$HSI(HSI)$  $Direxion Daily FTSE China Bear 3X Shares(YANG)$  $PING AN(02318)$  $SSE Comp(000001.SH)$  China Faces Rising Risks as Future Credit Downgrade Threatens Currency and Capital Outflows Recently, Reuters reported similar rumors that many may remember: the Chinese government was supposedly planning a ¥2 trillion special bond issuance. Half of this was intended to stimulate consumer spending, while the other half was for supporting local governments with debt relief, including an 800-yuan monthly subsidy per child for families with two or more children. As it turned out, these claims were
China Faces Credit Downgrade Risk as Central Bank Holds Junk Assets
TOPneo26000: TLDR - Summary: Recent discussions about a ¥10 trillion stimulus plan in China highlight ongoing economic challenges. While ¥6 trillion aims to address local government debt, it only offers temporary relief without structural reforms. The remaining ¥4 trillion targets land purchases but may not stabilize the plummeting real estate market. Additionally, the absence of proposed family subsidies signals a narrow focus on immediate economic stimulation rather than long-term solutions. With pressures from potential U.S. trade policies, a managed yuan depreciation seems likely. Overall, without meaningful reforms, heavy reliance on bond issuance may harm China’s credit rating and economic stability - Hope I got this right

Why AAPL is Leading the Charge in AI-Powered Consumer Devices

$Apple(AAPL)$’s latest MacBook Pro release, powered by the new M4 chip family, is a clear signal of the company’s commitment to innovation and AI-forward computing. Despite earlier criticisms that Apple was becoming stagnant, the company has effectively silenced skeptics with the launch of this high-performance, AI-integrated lineup. The M4 chips, built on advanced 3nm technology, offer unprecedented power, efficiency, and the inclusion of Apple's new "Apple Intelligence" for on-device AI capabilities. In my view, this strategic step cements Apple's role as a frontrunner in AI-driven computing, paving the way for future growth and solidifying its competitive advantage. JEPI ETF - A Dividend Oasis Amidst A Bearish Market

🌟🌟🌟When the markets are Bearish, I seek comfort in Dividends.  JEPI $JPMorgan Equity Premium Income ETF(JEPI)$  does it particularly well as it has a laser focus to deliver monthly distributable income and stock market exposure with less volatility. JEPI uses a Covered Call Options Strategy to generate the monthly income.  This is usually the domain of big institutions and expert traders.  JEPI is the largest Actively Managed ETF in the US with Assets Under Management of USD 36.64 billion and a favourite with dividend seeking income investors like me. Verizon 3Q24 Report - 31% Drop in EPS, What Is Going On?

This quarter $Verizon(VZ)$ released their reports with a shocking 31% drop in EPS compared to 3Q23. This was primarily driven by a severance charge of $1.7 billion from a voluntary separation program announced in June 2024. Don’t be fooled by the short-term numbers, this program is intended to pave the way for future financial improvement in the long run. The severance charge affected the consolidated net income by -30.2% and EBITDA by -13.57% compared to 3Q23. Verizon reported an Adjusted EBITDA of $12.5 billion, which excludes severance charges, marking the highest figure in the company's history. Business Segment: The segment gave us a bit of a surprise with the operating income for the quarter being 4.8% higher than in 3Q23, primarily driven by

The longer-term uptrend remains intact, providing dip-buying opportunities.$Apple (AAPL)$I was second-guessing my $230 put sale from earlier this week as too aggressive. "Unreliable" Stocks Rise While Strong Stocks Fall? Do You Have The Same Stocks?

A user on WSB shared that they bought $Reddit(RDDT)$ shares during its IPO and did nothing, yet their investment is now up 150%.
