Are you bearish on SPX. during fat bear week?

$S&P 500(.SPX)$ closed at 4273.53, below the key support level of 4300; $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ fell below 13100 yesterday.

With two key indices falling below the support level, market begins to speculate for more declines.

The UAW strike, the potential shutdown of the US government this weekend, and analysts downgrading ratings of tech giants have made the upcoming October more uncertain.

If the Republican and Democratic parties cannot reach an agreement before October 1st, most federal government departments will have to shut down.

Although fat bear week is held to pick fat bears, some retail investors consider it’s an unlucky period for stock market. Especially, it coincides with the plunge of major indices and October effect.

Are you bearish on market’s performance as fat bear week is coming?

Yes, the bear is coming back slowly until we slowly realize it now. Hope it's just a baby bear and don't grow into a fat bear ya. Obesity is never a good thing haha! We should let the bear hibernate! Goodbye our most hated bear haha. Do you like bear or not? Probably your children like but not you and me 😇😇😇

🌟🌟🌟Volatility is the price we pay for extraordinary returns in the long term.  I view Fat Bear Markets as unprecedented opportunities to buy wonderful companies selling below their intrinsic value.

Due to our loss aversion, it hits us straight in the face when the markets are down.  It is gut wrenching painful when our stocks drop like a rock to the bottom of the ocean.  But how else can we get to buy these wonderful companies at a great price?

So let's embrace Bear Markets especially Fat Bear ones with both hands and go all in to buy these wonderful companies at great prices.  Then just simply let the magic of compounding take us to the moon!  That's how Warren Buffett built his wealth and that's why he is a billionaire!

bulls or bears, the market is always swinging. just how much the "pendulum" is swinging. the market is bearish with lots of uncertainties. Fed still hanging on the rate hikes, inflation still high, things are getting more expensive...not surprised if the market is getting the fat bear... but it's also an opportunity to bargain hunt for good stock trading at good price [smile] [smile] [smile] reposting and tagging. come comment and win coins @koolgal @Shyon @Fenger1188 @HelenJanet @aunteenat @rL @Zarkness @GoodLife99

@TigerGPT Why Singapore Aug 2023 inflation goes down when transport, water and many other living expenses are going higher and higher?

Based on the available information, I cannot provide a clear answer to your first question about Singapore's Aug 2023 inflation rate going down despite the increase in living expenses, as there is no data provided in the context. However, regarding your second question, as an AI investment assistant, I do not have a personal opinion or sentiment on the performance of the S&P 500 during fat bear week. It is important to note that past performance is not indicative of future results, and any investment decisions should be based on thorough research and analysis of the market and individual stocks.

The stock market is now most bearish than ever. $S&P 500(.SPX)$ hits 4231 now and $NASDAQ(.IXIC)$ is at 13016. The three major indexes have been sliding downwards together for two weeks. Fat bear is getting fatter in the coming week as the impending government shutdown looks unavoidable. This has certainly sparks financial panic in the market. Furthermore, the US 10-year treasury (^TNX) has reached as high as 4.55% in Monday’s trading. Wall Street says it may go all the way up to 10% as the Fed already said rates hike will come soon. Quite certain there is more dip now that SPX is below 4300 and has broken support. This week is not bottom yet. Pray hard. [Bless][Bless] Thanks for sharing [Heart] @Universe宇宙 [Heart] @Shyon [Heart]

Bearish for this week with the repeating story of potential shutdown that has never happened.. and from last week's Fed's stance of higher rates for longer
