[Share Your Portfolio & Win Prizes] Chips Are on Fire! Did You Make Money?
Chip stocks had a strong rally in April. Did you buy any chip stocks? Which stock helped you earn the most?
The semiconductor sector was almost all green. $Intel(INTC)$ jumped 112.98% in April, $Micron Technology(MU)$ rose 69.47%, $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ gained 61.35%, $ON Semiconductor(ON)$ climbed 61.71%, $Qualcomm(QCOM)$ was up 48.37%, $Texas Instruments(TXN)$ gained 40.91%, $Broadcom(AVGO)$ rose 35.92%, and $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ still added 10.62% despite already being one of the market’s biggest AI winners.
Memory-chip demand is surging globally, driven by AI infrastructure spending, data center expansion, and tight supply. Korean chipmakers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix also rallied sharply, as investors continue to chase the next layer of the AI trade.
The logic is simple: AI is not just about GPUs anymore. As cloud giants continue to spend aggressively on AI infrastructure, demand is spreading across the entire hardware chain — semiconductors, memory chips, servers, networking, power, cooling, and storage. That is why stocks like $MU, $AVGO, $AMD, $INTC, $SMCI, $WDC, $STX, and $SNDK have all attracted strong market attention. $Micron Technology(MU)$ $Broadcom(AVGO)$ $SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ $Western Digital(WDC)$ $Seagate Technology PLC(STX)$ $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$

I’m still holding my $GRANITESHARES 1.5X LONG NVDA DAILY ETF(NVDL)$ position. The AI demand story remains strong, driven by ongoing data center and cloud capex. Nvidia is still at the center of this ecosystem, although I’m mindful of valuation and may trim if the stock becomes overly extended.
I believe the AI hardware rally still has room to run, but it will likely become more selective. Names like $Broadcom(AVGO)$ and $Micron Technology(MU)$ could rotate into leadership, but Nvidia remains my core long-term holding tied to AI growth.
