🌟🌟🌟With high inflation, $CVS Health(CVS)$  is my pick for the most bullish retail stock in 2023.  CVS is the largest drug store chain in the US with 10,000 outlets.  It has been on an acquisition spree with the latest being Oak Street Health for USD 10.6 billion.

CVS has a wide moat due to its extensive distribution network of drug stores. It is also into health insurance under its subsidiary Aetna.  With the acquisition of Oak Street Health, it is into primary healthcare as well.

I like CVS as it ticks all the core fundamentals of a quality stock.  It is profitable, has a strong balance sheet and an excellent management team.

I believe CVS Health share price has the greatest upside potential as its share price has already dropped 22% in 1 year.  Wall Street Analysts are also bullish on CVS Health with a strong Buy, target price is USD 113.82, a 39% upside.

With high inflation, CVS Health is a defensive play and is a resilient stock to hold long term.

    Under high inflation and all the data provided, it looks like $Wal-Mart(WMT)$ or $Costco(COST)$ or $Home Depot(HD)$ will be bullish in 2023. However WMT is too pricey now, entering is risk. COST and HD not cheap😅 so I’ll rather buy $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ now since it’s fallen so much and wait for its recovery❣️Thanks loads @Tiger_Earnings for this Excellent post❣️Very helpful👍👍👍 Friends come read post and comment for coins🥳 @SR050321 @CYKuan @HelenJanet @rL @Universe宇宙 @Jadenkho @melson @Mrzorro @GoodLife99 @SPOT_ON @Kaixiang @BenjiFuji @RDPD富爸穷爸 @SirBahamut @b1uesky @MHh @PJoo @Pepermintpat @RiciaYang @jat @Omega88 @爱上投资学 @Zeniv @Elon2 @Yonhuat @Joker_Smile @grizzlylee @FrankieRed @spkek @snoopy123 @psk @pekss @amroui @Ericdao @StickyRice @StarLuck @Shyon @Success88 @kungpao @CL Wong @Derrick 1234 @MeowKitty @Thonyaunn @紫南 @Zarkness @Ah_Meng @Ratt @Tigress02 @Viv22 @aunteenat @airui @0QH @Cris0 @Brocco @AhGong @deal2deal @Ccl2 @Lcc73 @HLPA @WanEH @markele @pipiso @hlw8888 @Huiz84

I guess with the high inflation, tech would be hit hard and it will become harder in the future, suppose the inflation continue to exist. however, the daily necessities is still a must. Thus, adding on this fact I believe $Wal-Mart(WMT)$ would be leading in front of its peers for now.

    I would go for $Costco(COST)$.

Not $Wal-Mart(WMT)$ because it's too big to grow substantially.

I do not like the rest of the companies because of their business mix and some of their market capitalisation are not that big.

Costco stands out from the rest.

@Tiger_Earnings I think there is a typo here. There is no $Citigroup(C)$ in the retailers list above. I think you meant to say $Costco(COST)$ for the chart in positive YTD return? I suspect some figures are distorted due to merger and acquisition activities, so it might be useful to point those out (if any) to help with the analysis. Finally, I will go for $Costco(COST)$ , $CVS Health(CVS)$ , $Walgreens Boots Alliance(WBA)$ since they are all essential items retail chains, inflation or not.

Thanks for organising this event @Tiger_Earnings According to the highlights of financial analysis above.,$Amazon.com(AMZN)$, $Wal-Mart(WMT)$& $Costco(COST)$ are consistently the three best performers in terms of revenue. However, only Costco and Wal-mart remain on the list of Top 3 EPS companies.(Amzn has dropped out. That showd its share price is already too high!) I would expect these two companies to be bullish in 2023. Share price of walmart already moving up while Costco is still heading south. Walmart would be safer to go bullish. Costco might give better return per share when its share price picks up. I will allocate some money on Walmart and leave a portion to invest in Costco. My motto is: Do not put all eggs in one basket! 😅🍀 Thanks 🐯 for tag. Please comment and like. 💕 @Universe宇宙 💕 @LMSunshine 💕 @GoodLife99 @Success88 @HelenJanet @koolgal @Jadenkho @rL 🤭 @Shyon

    1. Massively huge defensive companies
    2. All the data in totality is important rather than just 1 data.
    3. CVS looks interesting to me based on the Q4 data. I will be wondering what caused the spike? Do note its not a recommendation. DYODD. [Sly] For this set, still CVS as you still need medications in an inflationary environment to survive. [Facepalm]

I choose $Costco(COST)$ due to the inflation issue currently. Not going to choose tech related until the inflation issue fully resolved. I just simply like their concept of having subscribed customers through their membership or loyalty program. This will help to maintain a consistent revenue with the least fluctuation! @Aqa @koolgal @LMSunshine @Universe宇宙 @rL

I think Amazon will be the most resilient simply because it is more diversified. It is not just an e-commerce retailer, it also has its cloud computing business to help it weather through the times

i'm accumulating $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ now... their retails are actually weaker and i know on the ground, their retail operations may not be able to be called as the best practice but their cloud storage is actually one of the best of the world - especially after microsoft azure down for nearly the whole day last month

If you go through all the retail companies, Amazon and Costco are the best retail shop among all. If you take a look one is e-commerce and warehouse base.

People from Canada and US always look on Costco warehouse to do their shopping because of their dirt cheap price. Besides, those from home love to order from AMZN.

Their earnings are good as well. Do take a look on my article soon on this matter.
