🌟🌟🌟I am a Buy And Hold kind of investor, not Sell In May and Go Away one.   I believe wholeheartedly in the magic of compounding returns from holding quality stocks long term.  That's just what Warren Buffett does and that's how he become a billionaire!

A good example would be my investment in $DBS GROUP HOLDINGS LTD(D05.SI)$ which has jumped 28% since I bought its shares 2 years ago and is paying me juicy dividends of 5.1% yield every 3 months while I wait for capital growth.

Sell In May and Go Away strategy  implies trying to time the market.  That's not a good idea especially if you lock in a loss.  I believe Buy And Hold is a truly a better strategy for it is time in the market that counts, and not timing the market.

Yeah I usually sell in May and wait for July to collect good stocks. Almost the similar thing repeated again and again every year. @koolgal @Fenger1188 @Universe宇宙 @GoodLife99 @Aqa @LMSunshine @rL

Thanks @MillionaireTiger for this activity I buy and sell guided by and with reference to the financial analyses and technical analyses of the various stocks. Sometimes these analyses do coincide with the “Sell in May” theory because “Sell in May” is in the trend of the market. Since i do not ecpect the market to go up these two days and next week, i might as well sell and go away to enjoy the long weekend. Wish all 🐯 friends and @MillionaireTiger Happy Labour Day.

if we saw that the dip already happened in this month, than sell in May is quite late. we should start to sell in April, and then monitoring the dip happened in May and the next months. I'll probably start to buy in June or the month when the price gain a momentum to rise. but predicting the market will always difficult, so it's better for me to late buying than buying at the wrong time.

Sell in may and go away doesnt works now. Its belong to last era where humans go for holidays break and transaction volume and prices reduces. Now algorithmic programming are taking over jobs of people and they are 24/7 on the job. @Viv22 @HelenJanet @Universe宇宙 @airui @melson @LMSunshine @koolgal @Tigress02 @MojoStellar come join in to win coins

  • 我不会在5月卖掉后离开,不过会对一些股票做倒T,从微软本季度的财报以及LVMH和爱马仕的一季度销售数据中可以发现,很多公司实力太强劲,压根对什么经济周期无所畏惧 。

As the market is volatile,  I will still deposit $100 to tiger vault at the start of the month. When using auto invest feature to buy weekly on the stock that I want  so t will not affect the market sentiments. With fund in the vault, I can use them to buy stocks too.

I will not sell in May as I am a person that don't like to sell at loss. I will hold on to the existing shares and may buy more shares for potential company like Alibaba, Apple, Amazon or Goggle.  I strongly believe these companies will  appreciate in their share price. @LMSunshine @Fenger1188 @CynthiaVogt @Blinkfans @Lord_Kuberan @AlexPoonFOTrading @babydc @nenevader Give me a like to support me.

i don't sell in may and go away, instead i apply automatic investment system where you add shares at each 10% drop or at support zones if you know technical analysis. this way you conserve your capital while the stock is strongly downtrending. do take profit at 10% intervals or at resistance zones if you know technical analysis. this way you have capital to buy the dip. only applies to stocks in an index or warren buffett would approve. bon courage. merci beaucoup @Zarkness for tagging

there is some truth in this as stocks are affected by historical trend and seasonality. but it will depend on sectors and semiconductors are on a downtrend. probably good time to buy some when many are selling

I don’t think that there will be a selloff in May, as so far the big banks and big techs results have largely exceeded market expectations, while the Fed is widely expected to hike interest rate for one last time in May before pausing. The markets may look beyond prevailing interest rates and gun for monetary policies easing as recession sets in. Anyway, if a selloff does occur, it will be a buying opportunity for me :)

If you are holding a good fundamental companies especially when their recent results are good and above expectation which shows the companies are recovering and getting stronger each days. I will not sell in May and in fact will buy further if price drops.
