A year ago, $Walt Disney(DIS)$ ’s stock was almost toxic to investors. The company was bleeding money in streaming, cable was losing subscribers, and debt was becoming a huge problem as interest rates rose.Since then, Disney has reported a sharp rise in free cash flow and streaming is now profitable (barely). Cable is still dying, but it’s still generating cash flow. Shares are only up 14.8% since the spotlight, which lags the market, but the business has turned a sharp corner and the growth strategy is playing out nicely. Then there’s the recent hit Inside Out 2, which has a chance to be the highest-grossing movie of 2024.Despite the media narrative that Disney’s studios are out of touch and its streaming service is getting crushed by

Can You Really Beat a Bull Market? Here’s How to Try
Understanding the Bull Market I've been scrutinising the current bull market, and one question keeps popping up: can you really outperform these buoyant conditions? July 2024 brings a cautiously optimistic outlook with the S&P 500 hitting new highs and the Federal Reserve staying accommodative. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Unsurprisingly, there were no routine large institutional call sale prints on Friday, as uncertainty reigns whether this week brings consolidation or a continued rally.Based on open interest, there's a possibility this week shapes up as a battle around $245.My plan is to sell the July 12 $235 puts.$TSLA 20240712 235.0 PUT$ $Apple(AAPL)$ The upside momentum has been ferocious, with a 7.5% rally last week. Scanning the flows, there were many sizable call buyers adding exposure, like the weekly $227.5 calls and August $235 calls. However, I feel the $220-$230 zone may present a sticking point to clear. Nonetheless, I'll

Wall Street is buzzing with "Trump trades" as discussions about President Biden's potential re-election bid heat up. Traders are adjusting portfolios, tweaking assets like the dollar, bonds, and more in anticipation of a possible return to the White House by Trump.Experts predict a Trump re-election could spur trades benefiting from loose fiscal policies and escalated trade protectionism. This includes a stronger dollar, higher US bond yields, and upticks in sectors like banking, healthcare, and energy.1.Dollar SignalThe dollar is the quickest to react in these "Trump trades," strengthening just hours after recent debates. Trump's proposed tax cuts and hefty tariffs on imports from China and other countries are key factors.Goldman Sachs' chief economist Jan Hatzius warns that these tariffs
This past Friday was a good day for$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ bulls, and it reinforces my own bullish position on the company. Here's what caught my eye. PLTR surged nearly 5% on Friday, with trading volume almost double the 90-day average. Call options dominated the action, making up 80% of the total contracts traded. This suggests a strong bullish sentiment among options traders. The high volume on the $27 strike price call expiring that same day is particularly interesting. This indicates a concentration of bets that the price will rise above $27 by expiry. Ark Invest, led by the tech-focused Cathie Wood, added a significant amount of PLTR shares to its ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF last we
The writings are on the wall. US economy is cooling. Last week’s 4 jobs reports have more or less affirmed this. (1) JOLTs. Firstly, Jobs Opening & Labour Turnover survey (JOLTs) rose marginally by +2.79% for May 2024 to 8.14 million jobs. (2) ADP Non farm payroll. Secondly, ADP Private payroll growth edged lower by -4.46% for June 2024 to 150,000 jobs, indicating a potential slowdown in the US labour market. (3) US Weekly jobless claims. Thirdly, US weekly jobless claims (week ending 29 Jun 2024) rose by +1.70% to 238,000 claims. The 4-week average of claims climbed by 2,250 to 238,500., the highest in 9 months. A few years back, $Eli Lilly(LLY)$ wasn't the hottest ticket in biopharma. But today, it's a juggernaut in global healthcare. So, is Eli Lilly still the top pick for healthcare investors? Let's check out three biotech stocks worth buying:1. $Amgen(AMGN)$ Eli Lilly's stock has surged over 50% this year, while Amgen's gains have been in the single digits. Amgen even reported a net loss in Q1 2024 under GAAP.But where Amgen really shines is valuation—it beats Eli Lilly hands down. Amgen's forward P/E ratio is less than 16.2x, while Lilly's is a hefty 66.7x. And on dividends, Amgen trumps Lilly with a forward dividend yield of 2.9% versus Lilly's paltry 0.6%.2. $Vertex Ph
$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ Okay so Citi Analyst Tyler Radke just issued a Neutral rating on Palantir $PLTR, maintaining a $25 Price Target. Core points from his note: - AIP Go-To-Market seems to be accelerating dramatically with more bootcamps, indicating US Commercial is growing well - Although AIP’s GTM is strong, Citi is unconvinced that the monetization is ramping up at the same rate - Doubtful on massive government growth even with the latest gov contracts - Moved from a “Sell” rating to Neutral, but believes the stock's valuation, trading at approximately 24 times next twelve months (NTM) enterprise value to sales (EV/Sales), makes it difficult for Citi to identify positive near-term catalysts

$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ have experienced a 6 consecutive weeks up moves, which have exceeded its two standard deviations price runs. In order to break the sequence, it is possible that the price will move lower. Standard deviation (SD) is a statistical measure that indicates how much a stock's price typically deviates from its average price. A price movement exceeding one, two or more SD suggests a more significant deviation than usual, potentially signaling a trend change or overbought/oversold territory. $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ $Semiconductor Bull 3X Shares(SOXL)$ </
$Intel(INTC)$That's the reason Intel is under valued now.
