🌛🌛🌛The Goddess of The Moon Is Smiling at us today as the markets are up. On this Special Day of Mid Autumn Festival it is so nice to get together with our dearest family and friends. The round shape of the moon signifies Harmony and Réunion.
My favourite Mooncake is the Lotus Seed Mooncake with double egg yolk. I am in 7th Heaven when I taste it. The sweetness of the lotus seed paste contrasts with the saltiness of the egg yolks perfectly.
The Best place to do moon gazing is at the Marina Barrage. On a clear moonlit night, we can see stars twinkling in the sky and the moon shining brightly.

I celebrated Moon Festival today by eating dinner and moon cake with my family. After dinner, we walked around the neighborhood and the open air car park where we can see the big and bright moon very clearly as there was no building blocking the view of the sky. This year is my first time to try Bird Nest Momoyama Skin Mooncake bought by my colleague and love it as it is not so sweet and the size is just nice for one person to consume.

mid autumn festival is one of festival our family would enjoy together, we always buy the flaky mooncake (teochew style) and the durian ice cream mooncake exactly from the same vendors every year. This year we will be having mala for dinner and then eat the mooncakes together 🥰
