🌟🌟🌟Mid Autumn Festival or more popularly known as Mooncake Festival in Singapore is a time to celebrate love, peace and harmony.  I am currently on holiday with my husband in Gold Coast, Australia.  This is a lovely shot of a Full Moon with  Q1 Tower, the highest apartment building in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.

It is a beautiful Spring evening and we just had a wonderful dinner at the Marriot Hotel.   To know that this is the same moon that shines brightly around the world, is a feeling that we are all united in friendship and love.

Happy Mooncake Festival to All My Dear Tiger Friends around the world. 😍😍😍

The Japanese also celebrate the mid-autumn festival called “Moon Viewing”. The picture of moons here was taken at Tokyo’s Fukagawa Shrine. The Sumida River, in particular, has historically been known as an ideal location for viewing the tsukimi moon. During the Edo period, a sandbar on the river was quite famous as a viewing area. Dango and mochi in Rabbit shapes are eaten during this festival. THANKS @TigerEvents @icycrystal @melson @ZEROHERO @Optionspuppy @rL @GoodLife99

🌕 The full moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival is a breathtaking symbol of unity, wholeness, and the beauty of togetherness. As it graces the night sky in its full, radiant splendor, it reminds us of the cherished moments spent with loved ones, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. The luminous moon, perfectly round and glowing, mirrors the ideals of completeness & harmony that we strive for in our lives. This celestial marvel not only illuminates the autumn night but also reflects the warmth and joy of family reunions and celebrations. Its brilliance connects us across distances, bringing hearts closer and making this festival a time of shared happiness and fulfillment. As we admire the moon’s serene beauty, we embrace the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrating love, togetherness, and the richness of life. 🌕

Here I would like to share a full moon photo snapped by me last year Mid Autumn Festival in Singapore.

The Mooncake Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is a traditional Chinese celebration dating back over 3,000 years, rooted in moon worship during the Shang dynasty. It falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, marking the harvest and symbolizing unity and togetherness. Mooncakes, a key part of the festival, represent the full moon and are often shared among family and friends to honor the legend of Chang'e, the moon goddess.

🌕🏮🏮🐰🐰 Wishing all Tigers a very happy Mid-Autumn Festival. Vietnamese also celebrate this on the same day. They call it “Children’s Festival” . All the children parade lanterns in the streets on the night of Mid-autumn Festival to help light the way to earth for the moon fairy from the moon. Thanks @TigerEvents @melson
