With the company's annual Investor Day event coming up on 1st March, investors and fans are eagerly anticipating what the future holds for Tesla.
Along with this event, the good news that Elon Musk has reclaimed the title of the richest person in the world and Musk plans to develop a ChatGPT rival also delight investors.
3 Points that Elon Musk may announce on Investor Day
Musk is expected to take to the stage at the investor day and outline his vision for his the company’s future, an exercise that will likely involve making a lot of lofty promises.
1. A new and cheaper model
In a brief press release, the company said the event will feature Tesla’s “most advanced production line,” explain its long term expansion and capital allocation plans, and discuss the “generation 3 platform.”
In the past, the billionaire has hinted at a $25,000 EV— often referred to as the “Model 2.” Such a car would certainly be in line with Musk’s initial “Master Plan” promises of increasingly affordable vehicles.
2. Solar power
Solar power was a part of both of the company’s previous “Master Plans.”
Earlier this month, Tesla tweeted out a GIF showing an energy “ecosystem,” where solar panels on a home’s roof charge up a Tesla EV. It seems likely there will be some news about the company’s solar panels.
3. The delivery date of Cybertruck
Finally, it’s possible that Musk will use the March 1 event to make good on old commitments. Maybe the people who pre-ordered Cybertrucks years ago will finally get a delivery date. Maybe the Tesla CEO will revive the second generation Roadster the company first showed off in 2017.
Musk has a habit of vowing big, flashy innovations and advancements on tight turnarounds. Often, things don’t work out exactly according to plan.
Review on the former Master Plans
Tesla has previously had two other ‘Master Plans.”
1) The Secret Master Plan
The first, released in 2006, outlined a general strategy of creating a luxury electric sportscar, and then progressively more affordable models of electric vehicles. Musk has basically met those initial goals with Tesla’s three available sedans.
2) Master Plan, Part Deux
“Part Deux,” released in 2016, outlined goals for Tesla to expand its EV vehicle line to a pickup truck and also forecast that Tesla would have entirely autonomous vehicles “10x safer than manual” driving.
However, Elon Musk hasn't made good on his promises.
The Tesla Cybertruck—the company’s vision of a pickup— has languished in the pre-production phase for years now, and has been delayed repeatedly.
Meanwhile, Tesla’s driver assistance technology is still far from fulfilling the vision of autonomous robotaxis.
In conclusion, the 2023 Tesla Investor Day is shaping up to be a major event for investors, with the company expected to unveil new technology, provide updates on its existing projects, and outline its plans for the future.

🌟🌟🌟There is much excitement in the air as Tesla's Investor Day is almost here. It is time for Elon Musk to showcase his latest ideas for Tesla's Master Plan 3. This is Elon Musk's vision to outline Tesla's path to a fully sustainable energy future for Earth. It will also represent a convergence of Tesla, with Space X and The Boring Company.
Tesla is more than just an EV company. It is into Solar, Robotics and even AI. Elon Musk's vision for Master Plan 3 aims to see a future world populated by robot helpers, self driving cars and solar powered homes.
I am all for Elon Musk's exciting master plan for the future and hopes it will come to fruition.
I am bullish on $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ and expects its share price will jump on Investor Day. In the past 5 days, Tesla has gained 4% and is up a phenomenal 90% year to date.

I guess Tesla share price may little up within 3~5%.
However, according to the expectation of the investors, even if it's just a one more promise, the Tesla stock will soar.
The third part of Tesla's Master Plan (following Part 1 in 2006 and Part 2 in 2016) will be a major part of the event. The next-gen Tesla Roadster, Cybertruck, new vehicle platform, autonomous driving applications, energy storage initiatives, charging network revenue potential, and Tesla robot could all be woven into the master plan. The automaker's "generation 3 platform" is anticipated to lead to cheaper electric vehicles in the future, although it is unclear if a new mass-market model will be unveiled. The tease about capital allocation has some investors focused details of a stock buyback plan.
